I bought a laptop! Finally! I'm not typing this blog from my laptop because I have to wait until possibly Friday to get it, but it's bought. Sweet. Not that I have much to say lately.
But this totally cute theater nerd sold me my laptop. I'm sure he was all of like twenty, but he was geeky and cute and singing loudly with all the totally awesome music that Best Buy happened to be playing that evening and I didn't even care because he sounded pretty good and like I said, totally cute. Moving on. So he's doing stuff, trying to get my laptop ordered and a random song from the Once soundtrack came on, and I love every song from that soundtrack even Broken Hearted Hoover Fixer Sucker Guy and cute theater nerd was singing along and I was humming along quietly and he was all shocked I knew the song and then he confirmed what I already sorta knew that he was a theater nerd so we talked about musicals, Glee, etc. and by that point I was totally wishing I were a young twenty something again with a rockin' bod. But oh well :) I think I'll be okay. But needless to say I wasn't too upset to spend several hundred dollars when such a cutie pie was helping me out you know?
Last week a guy on Mass Street was picking up cigarette butts off the ground and collecting them so he could take out the tobacco and smoke it in his homemade pipe. Gross.
Yesterday I gave my leftovers to a homeless man on Mass Street while we were on our way to Sylas and Maddy's. After Sylas and Maddy's I start mildly freaking out because I could not find my leftovers and I thought I was going to have to walk back....then my brothers reminded me that I had given them away...I'm losing it...I don't know what "it" is, but it's being lost as we speak.
Matilda ate half of an angel food cake today and then had the nerve to beg for more food, she's naughty.
My Hummingbirds have started saying "I don't know" except it sounds like "I uh know". It's totally adorable which is good for them because they were terrible all last week. I just wanted to sit in the pillow corner and cry. This week will be better...this week will be better....
You know, it wouldn't hurt to ask the guy out. Just sayin'. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm with your friend -- you never know!
